■ Who are you?
I'm SirRedEdge, a freelance artist. I mostly make NSFW anime-style stories and 
illustrations!

I've always been interested in art since I was young, but I never pursued it 
seriously or thought I could get actually anywhere with it becuase I didn't 
have any sort of "talent". Luckily, I came to realise that talent didn't 
matter, talent at most can give people a good head start but it's hard work 
and building skill that really makes someone into a professional. I initially 
got into artistic endeavours with learning 3D modeling in 2019, and didn't 
make the switch to creating illustrations until about 2 years later. Art 
started out as just a small hobby for me, but over time became an outlet for 
my creativity, passions, and a way to get through the hardest times in my 
life. 

And now I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything else as a career. 
My works can be viewed on sites like Newgrounds and Pixiv. If you like what you  
see and want more, support sites like Patreon and making commissions are my 
main source of income. Supporters get perks like exclusive illustrations and 
joining the community discord where you can talk to me and other fellow fans 
and artists.

■ Are you currently taking commissions?
Please check my commissions webpage to see if commissions are open or not. If 
they are closed, please wait paitiently until they open again, and support 
other artists in the meantime who have their commissions open! 


■ What drawing program do you use?
I use Krita. 


■ What drawing tablet do you use?
I currently use an XP-PEN Deco L. 


■ Have any art tips?
- Focus on what you enjoy making the most. 
- Never stop learning. 
- Don't be a perfectionist. 
- No idea is fully original, don't be afraid to use references and take 
inspiration from others. 
- Art isn't easy and "getting good" is probably going to take longer than you 
think, don't overwork yourself or rush!
